The simulation portraits the seductive mechanics of power and our collective surrender to them. Boundaries between love and violence get blurred through what Ferenczi calls Sprachverwirrung, or confusion of tongues. The categories through which love can be felt and thought are written by the one who benefits, even unconsciously, from their distortion.
What if this relationship was at the heart of what prevents us from triggering emancipatory futures? "Daddy loves you too." proposes that patriarchal domination, with incest as its most intimate and most occulted mechanism, functions as a condition of possibility for capitalism's reproduction.
